Boy, 6, Found Dead In Oakland County Mobile Home; 2 Arrested: Police

Officials found the boy unresponsive and suffering from physical injuries​ inside an Oakland County mobile home, according to police.

MADISON HEIGHTS, MI — Two people have been arrested after a 6-year-old boy was found dead in Madison Heights, according to police.

Officials responded to a mobile home community in the 25000 block of Dequindre Road near 10 Mile Road on Tuesday for a report of an unresponsive boy who was suffering from physical injuries, according to police.

The boy was taken to Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital and then moved to Children’s Hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to police.

Police said two people were arrested in connection with the boy's death, but they did not immediately release any details.

"This is a tragic incident, and the Madison Heights Police Department will work to bring justice on behalf of this juvenile victim," officials said in a statement.

Police said there is no further danger to the public at this time.
