Cantata Academy Chorale Welcomes New Director

Cantata Academy Chorale is thrilled to officially announce that Mike Paul Peterson will be joining us as Artistic Director of Cantata Academy Chorale! Mike comes to us with an impressive resume and 30 years of teaching -- most recently at Clarkston High School, from which he retired in June 2024. Mike, a graduate of Central Michigan University, summer instructor at Interlochen, member of numerous choirs, has extensive experience in conducting and performing a variety of music from the classics to musicals. He brings touring experience and we expect fresh ideas, new perspectives and are throughly excited for the our fall season to begin.
