City Meetings, One Act Festival, Health Expo and More This Week
There's a lot going on in Royal Oak this week. What do you have planned?

It's a busy week in Royal Oak, as usual. Here are five things you should know as you go about your week:
- City Commission meets Monday: The City Commission meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. Click here for the agenda.
- Everything Eight Fundraiser on Wednesday: What could be simpler, every item is available for only $8. Don’t miss out on this event, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Mahany/Meininger Senior Community Center. You can shop for scarves, watches, reading glasses, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and much more! Pick up something for yourself or maybe do a little birthday or early holiday shopping and benefit the senior community center at the same time.
- The Downtown Development Authority meets Wednesday: The DDA meeting starts at 4 p.m. at City Hall.
- One Act Festival on Friday: The Royal Oak High School Drama Club will be hosting it's first ever student run one act festival this Friday in the courtyard of Royal Oak High School. All five of the one act plays are student directed and students actually wrote three of the five plays. The entire festival is student run and produced by members of the ROHS Drama Club. Admission is Free. The public is invited.
- Health at Holistic Health and Wellness Expo on Saturday: The Royal Oak Community Coalition, in partnership with Royal Oak Schools, wiil offer more than 35 practitioners, nine mini-classes, six exercise demonstrations and a food court hosted by Chartwells. The event takes place from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Royal Oak High School. A suggested donation of $2 at the door will benefit Royal Oak School District health classes and Royal Oak Community Coalition health and wellness initiatives.
