Royal Oak Foodie Company is Building Success for Local Food Entrepreneurs

Street Eatzz has a passion for food and entrepreneurship.

Inspired by a soft economy, Michigan is rapidly becoming a state filled with trailblazing entrepreneurs, including Royal Oak-based Street Eatzz.

Love of food weighs heavily in the entrepreneurial spirit in the Mitten State. Food trucks, pop-up cafes and coffee shops, community kitchens and underground Sunday brunches – marketed like some secret foodie rave, are kind of becoming our thing.

Coolness aside, making it in the food business is a challenge for even the most talented and creative among us. This is exactly the impetus behind Street Eatzz, micro co-packers and distributors of Michigan made foodie products. Drawing from the expertise and experience of Chef Al Pronko, and Chef Tom Keshishian; Street Eatzz strives to bridge the gap between start-up and sustainable business for Made in Michigan Food Start Up’s.

“There are literally hundreds of local chefs who are pumping out great, marketable food products, and have no idea how to effectively get on store shelves and still make a profit. We are here to solve that problem," Street Eatzz’ Eric Brown, points out.

“Our first product, 313 Foodie Sauce, has been a huge success and also helped us refine our approach and methodology," said Brown. “It’s a unique product that we like to think of as a flavor sauce, so we implemented the tagline “Flavor Over Heat” – a simple, yet straight forward and catchy product description that works beautifully."

“We want to cover it all. We want to help you take your awesome sauce that everyone raves about, get it on store shelves and into shopping carts," adds Chef Tom.

Street Eatzz is based in Royal Oak and debuted its first product: 313 Foodie Sauce in 2012, followed by Detroit Smoke. Learn more about Street Eatzz on Facebook or visit streeteatzz.com.
