Man Charged After Trafficking 2 People For Sex In Oakland County: Cops

A Detroit man is facing charges after police said he trafficked at least two people for sex in Oakland County.

MADISON HEIGHTS, MI — A Detroit man is facing charges after police said he trafficked at least two people for sex in Oakland County.

Kevin Johnson, 31, was charged with torture, two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, two counts of prostitution transporting a person, two counts of prostitution accepting earnings, two counts of human trafficking enterprise causing injury and assault and battery.

He was placed in the Oakland County Jail with a $750,000 bond.

He faces up to life in prison for the torture and criminal sexual conduct charges, up to 20 years each for the prostitution charges and up to 15 years for the human trafficking enterprise charge.

Police said Johnson moved at least two people for prostitution and accepting money for sex trafficking across Oakland County. He also sexually assaulted one of the survivors at least twice and also physically assaulted her, according to police.
