Man Killed In Oakland County Hit-And-Run Crash: Police
Police said the man was standing at a bus stop when a gold Toyota Camry left the roadway and hit him.
MADISON HEIGHTS, MI — A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Oakland County on Wednesday, according to police.
Police said the 68-year-old man was standing at a bus stop on Dequindre Avenue near 11 Mile Road in Madison Heights at 4:53 p.m. when a gold Toyota Camry left the roadway and hit him.
The man was taken to Corewell Health's hospital in Royal Oak Beaumont where he died, according to police.

The driver of the Toyota sped away from the scene, but officers eventually found the car a few hours later, according to police.
The driver was arrested in connection with the crash and police said charges were likely.

Police did not release any other details about the crash, which was still under investigation.
