New Roundabout Opens In Royal Oak A Week Ahead Of Schedule
The $1.65 million project opened at the intersection of Greenfield and Normandy– which becomes Beverly Road to the west of Greenfield.
ROYAL OAK, MI — A new roundabout on the Royal Oak/Beverly Hills border opened Saturday, a week ahead of its original schedule.
The $1.65 million project opened at the intersection of Greenfield and Normandy– which becomes Beverly Road to the west of Greenfield. The intersection had been closed for construction since June 12.
Officials said roughly 16,000 cars pass through the intersection every day and the new roundabout will help improve safety.
