Pedicab Rides Continue In Royal Oak
If you haven't tried this new service downtown, now is your chance.

ROYAL OAK, MI— Royal Oak Downtown Development Authority and Skoop will continue to provide free pedicab rides through the month of July, the city announced. Locals can take a Skoop pedicab to their downtown Royal Oak destination, compliments of the Downtown Development Authority.
The hours of operation in July will be Thursdays (except the Fourth of July Holiday) from 5-11 p.m.; Fridays 6 p.m. to midnight; Saturdays from 11na.m. to 3 p.m. and evenings 6 p.m. to midnight; and Sundays from noon to 3 p.m.
The DDA launched the pedicab service in May. Scoop operates a fleet of electric bike taxis in East Lansing and brought a portion of the fleet to Royal Oak for the new partnership.

Each vehicle has a digital advertising display on the exterior and interior too. Skoop aims to make quick rides inexpensive options.
