The Royal Oak Memorial Society hosted a Veterans Day ceremony this morning to honor military veterans at the Veterans War Memorial Plaza in downtown Royal Oak.

The ceremony included guest speaker and Iraq/Afghanistan veteran Andrew "Rocky" Raczkowski and a performance by Madelyn Lixie, a Royal Oak Middle School student.  Royal Oak High School students performed taps.
