Pitch, Hit and Run to Test Local Kids’ Baseball Skills
The competition will take place on April 20 at Worden Park in Royal Oak.

Local boys and girls ages 7 to 14 are invited to test their baseball skills at the annual Pitch, Hit and Run event hosted by the Royal Oak Kiwanis and the Royal Oak Jaycees April 20 at Worden Park, located on Crooks Road, just north of 13 Mile.
The event will kick off at 9 a.m. with a free baseball clinic. At 10 a.m., participants will rotate through skill stations, where they will PITCH to hit a target, HIT as far and as straight as they can, and RUN from second base to home plate at top speed.
Pitch, Hit and Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. Scores at the local competition could qualify participants to compete at sectionals, team championships and the national finals at the MLB All-Star Game.
