Report: Cocaine And Heroin Found In Royal Oak AirBnB

Two men staying in an AirBnB rental in Royal Oak were arrested on charges related to heroin and cocaine distribution.

DEA agents conducted a search of a Royal Oak AirBnB rental, arresting three men on federal charges after discovering heroin and cocaine in the home. Jesus Salvador Guerrero-Macias, Ruben Alvarez Jr. and Javier Alejandro Avila-Mongeall were taken into custody Wednesday and face charges of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and conspiracy, according to Click on Detroit.

DEA agents say they learned about possible drug distribution Wednesday, according to a federal warrant, and were allowed to search at a home on South Maple Avenue. The agents found roughly a kilogram each of suspected heroin and suspected cocaine, court documents show. Agents found the drugs inside a FedEx box. Documents in the box tie shipments to Long Beach, California, according to police.
