Royal Oak Elementary School Has A New Principal

The new principal is a former teacher, who was named Elementary Teacher of the Year for Royal Oak Schools in 2020.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Royal Oak schools hired Timothy Boyer as the new principal at Addams Elementary School.

Boyer fills the vacancy left by Dr. Joe Youanes, who left for his new role of Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the district.

Boyer taught fourth and fifth grade for Upton Elementary for seven years and was named Elementary Teacher of the Year for Royal Oak Schools in 2020.
