Royal Oak High School Celebrates its 100th Anniversary

Tours, music presentations, displays and speeches kick off a very special celebration of Royal Oak High School.

School officials, students, parents and alumni gathered at Royal Oak High School Thursday for a centennial celebration.

"It's exciting to recognize 100 years of Royal Oak High School," said Superintendent Shawn Lewis-Lakin. "There's a lot this community has done to support education over the years."

During the 3-hour event, a Hall of Fame showcasing graduates and staff and an Athletic Hall of Honor were unveiled. A student-produced lip dub video premiered, too.
