Royal Oak Police Arrest 2 For Domestic Assault

Royal Oak police made 35 total arrest over the last week.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Despite warmer weather, Royal Oak police reported a relatively quiet week in terms of crime in the city. A total of 35 arrests were made between June 15 and Thursday, with probation violations leading the list with five.

Police also made a pair of arrests on domestic assault charges. Other crimes included five probation violations, three possessions of marijuana as well as three people caught driving on a suspended license. Here’s a rundown of other incidents in the city as reported by the Royal Oak police over the past week:

1000 block of Cherokee Ave., 9-20-16 – 6-18-17, 7:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole the rear spare tire from his 2011 Ford pick-up.

900 block of Fernwood Rd., 6-19-17, 12:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered her unlocked 2015 Dodge and stole loose change.

2000 block of Parmenter Blvd., 6-20-17 – 6-21-17, 9:15 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole all four rims and tires off of his 2015 Chrysler.

5000 block of Mansfield Ave. 6-20-17 – 6-21-17, 8:30 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole all four rims and tires off of his 2017 Chrysler.

Larceny 32782 Woodward Ave. (Vacant Business), 6-16-17, 10:30 a.m. – 10:33 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole his IZIP electric bike from the front of the building where he had placed it.

615 E. Eleven Mile Rd. (Wagon Wheel Apartments), 6-16-17, 3:15 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) had removed the change mechanism from several washers and dryers in the complex common area.
