The Royal Oak Police Department released its weekly update, detailing crimes they've investigated in the area. For the week of Feb 1. through Feb. 8, there were 31 arrests total, and police received calls for larceny, vehicle theft and malicious destruction of property.

2400 block of Oliver Ave.. On Feb 5 between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., an
unknown suspect(s) broke in the front door of a residence and stole a small safe.
Larceny from Motor Vehicle

600 block of S. Vermont Ave.Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 and 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 3, an unknown suspect(s) stole the catalytic converter from a resident’s 2009 Cadillac.
500 block of Park Ave., Between 6 and 7 p.m. on Feb. 3, an unknown
suspect(s) stole the tab portion from the complainant’s Michigan license plate.
Larceny
1800 block of Rochester Rd.. On Jan. 24 between noon and 2:00 p.m., an
unknown suspect(s) stole a delivered package an apartment hallway.
3601 W. Thirteen Mile Rd., (Beaumont Hospital). On Feb. 2 between 6:30 a.m. and 7:40 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) stole a worker’s wallet and credit cards from an
employee break area.
3601 W. Thirteen Mile Rd., (Beaumont Hospital), On Feb. 3 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) stole a hospital staffer’s laptop from an employee break area.
4000 block of Sheridan Dr., On Feb. 3 between 9 a.m. and noon, an unknown suspect(s) stole a Toro snow blower from a backyard patio.
1720 Rochester Rd. (Speedway). On Feb. 5 at 12:36 p.m., an unknown suspect stole a patron’s handbag and wallet from her unlocked 2008 Lexus while she was inside the station paying for gas.
2600 block of Aberdovey Dr., Between 6 p.m. on Feb. 5 and 11 a.m. on Feb. 6, an unknown suspects(s) stole a portable generator from a backyard.
Malicious Destruction of Property
4849 Crooks Rd., (Gordon Food Service). On Feb. 4 at 11:24 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) drove a vehicle through a metal fence and damaged the sod and landscape pond at the business.
