Royal Oak Taco Week: Here's A List Of Participating Restaurants
Multiple restaurants will be offering exclusive taco and drink specials during Royal Oak's second annual Taco Week.
ROYAL OAK, MI — Multiple restaurants will be offering exclusive taco and drink specials during Royal Oak's second annual Taco Week.
The event will take place in downtown Royal Oak from June 23 through June 29.
"We (the Downtown Development Authority) are always looking for unique ways to bring people together and to come to Downtown Royal Oak, and Taco Week is one event that does just that," Downtown Manager for the Royal Oak Downtown Development Authority Daniel Hill said. "This is a great opportunity for food enthusiasts to try new offerings from their local spots, or indulge in something new, in anticipation of a celebration built around tacos and tequila, not just for Taco Week, but for Taco Fest as well."

- Condado Tacos
- Jolly Pumpkin
- Lily’s Seafood Grill & Brewery
- Lockhart’s BBQ
- Mesa Tacos and Tequila
- O’Toole’s
- Royal Oak Brewery
- The Rock on Third
- The side bar
- Tom’s Oyster Bar
- Trattoria Da Luigi

Exclusive menu offerings include:
- Tequila: Smoke Your Last Word: Del Maguey VIDA mezcal, drambuie, aperol and lime juice (Ale Mary’s)
- Spicy watermelon jalapeno margarita (Lily’s Seafood Grill & Brewery)
- Smoked short rib taco with avocado crema, salsa roja, onions and cilantro (Lockhart’s BBQ)
- Tequila: Sol Picante: House infused habanero Don Julio tequila, mango puree, simple syrup, lemon juice, topped with prosecco (Mesa Tacos and Tequila)
- House-made corn shell tortilla seasoned with ground beef or chicken, served with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and salsa (The Rock on Third)
- Lobster Baja taco made with a battered lobster tail, shredded cabbage, Baja sauce, pico de gallo and flour tortillas (Tom’s Oyster Bar)
- Meat ball taco and caprese taco (Trattoria Da Luigi)
After Taco Week, the Royal Oak Taco Fest will take place June 30 through July 4. The street festival in Downtown Royal Oak will feature tacos, tequila, live music on four stages and an array of entertainment.
This year's event will be located on the east side of Main Street between 11 Mile Road and 4th Street, centered around Centennial Commons and portions of the Royal Oak City Complex parking lots.
