ROYAL OAK, MI — One of the biggest entertainment festivals in Michigan is making up for last year's cancellation due to the pandemic by announcing Wednesday an impressive lineup of local and national music acts.
Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats & Eats plans to kick off the upcoming Labor Day weekend with more than 200 music acts performing on nine different stages. Veteran rock band Stone Temple Pilots will be the first major act to take the stage during the 4-day festival.
Michigan-bred Jeff Gutt will sing lead vocals for the band, which includes founding members Dean DeLeo, Robert DeLeo and Eric Kretz. They will perform at 10 p.m., right after blues singer, Thornetta Davis and psychedelic rock band, The Guess Who.
