Thieves Target Wireless Stores in Royal Oak

Jewelry, pellet guns stolen
100 block of E. Kenilworth, Nov. 7, 8:30 a.m.– 6:50 p.m.: A man reported someone attempted to break into the house. The person used a patio chair to reach a window on the northeast side of the residence. The person did not gain entry to the home.
3200 block of Maplewood, Nov. 13, 11:30 a.m.– 1:45 p.m.: A man reported someone broke into the residence. The suspect stole jewelry and some pellet guns.

Computer and guitar taken from home
2400 block of E. Lincoln, Nov. 7, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.: A man reported he left his residence unlocked for a furnace repair technician. The technician completed the work and left before he returned home. While he was away someone stole a computer and guitar from the home.

3200 block of W. 14 Mile, Nov. 7, 6:30 a.m.– 11 a..m: A man reported someone stole his debit card and an undisclosed amount of currency from his work locker.
1500 block of Amelia, Nov. 11, midnight – 1:47 p.m.: A woman reported someone stole a UPS package delivered to her front porch.
Car window broken
200 block of S. Pleasant, Nov. 6– Nov. 7, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: A man reported someone broke out the driver’s side window of his vehicle.
In-dash navigation system stolen
1300 block of E. 11 Mile (Day 7 Salon), Nov. 8, between 10:50 a.m.1:55 p.m.: A woman reported someone broke the rear passenger window of her 2014 Buick Enclave and stole the in-dash navigation system. A witness observed a white late model Chrysler 300 parked next to the woman's vehicle prior to the theft.
Car stolen
600 block of W. Fourth Street, Nov. 6- – Nov. 7, 6 p.m. – 7 a.m.: A man reported someone stole his white 2006 Ford Econoline Van.
Thieves target wireless stores
30254 Woodward (AT&T Store), Nov. 7, 1:55 p.m.: The store reported two men entered the store. One of the men attempted to purchase a cellphone. The employee was unable to complete the transaction and advised the man he was unable to sell him the phone.
As they were leaving the store the second man stole two Otter Box cell phone cases. The employee confronted them about the theft. The suspects left the store and entered an occupied silver Ford hatchback and fled the area. The driver of the vehicle was described as a short black female in her early 20s, thin build with a gold stud in her lip.
- One of the men was described as black, early 20s, 5-feet 9-inches, 160 pounds
- The other man was described as black, early 20s, 5-feet 5-inches, 130 pounds, with a cursive tattoo on the right side of his neck and braided hair.
30254 Woodward (AT&T Store), Nov. 12, 6 p.m.: A man reported two men entered the store and stole a Samsung Note 2 cellphone. Both men then fled the area in a newer gray Mercedes.
- One man was described as a black, 6-feet 3-inches, 150 lbs, wearing a black coat, black pants, orange/white shoes, a NY Knicks hat and a lip piercing.
- The other man was described as a black, 5-feet 5-inches, 120 pounds, wearing a black and white striped long sleeve shirt, a black vest and gray pants
31941 Woodward (Verizon Wireless), Nov. 13, 1:45 p.m.: The store reported a heavyset black woman entered the store and stole several Bluetooth headsets and fled in a dark red Nissan.
