Funtastic Halloween, Spooktacular This Weekend in Royal Oak

Get in the spooky spirit with Royal Oak's Funtastic Halloween and Spooktacular.

ROYAL OAK, MI —While Royal Oak hasn’t set any official trick-or-treating hours, the common witching hours in nearby towns are 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Any later and it might just be you and the goblins out there.

Below are a couple Royal Oak events to get you in the spooky spirit.

Ready to make your Halloween funtastic? As well as freetastic? The Royal Oak Public Library is hosting its free family-friendly event, Funtastic Halloween, from noon to 2 p.m. on Oct. 29. The afternoon will be a mix of Halloween-themed games, crafts and activities. Best part: No registration required. Kiddos and parents - feel free to wear costumes!

Halloween isn't just funtastic in Royal Oak. It's also Spooktacular! Royal Oak’s Spooktacular and Trick-or-Treating is scheduled for 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Oct. 30 in downtown Royal Oak. More than 80 businesses will hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. Better double bag those pillowcases. The Spooktacular event will feature a giant inflatable slide, obstacle course, arts and crafts and fire engines, police cars and work trucks for kids to check out. How's that for a funtackular Spooktacular!
