Historical Society Recognizes Work of Eagle Scout, Troop 416

Work to restore the Rentschler Farm Museum in Saline has been bolstered by the efforts of local Boy Scouts.
On Saturday, the Saline Area Historical Society recognized the work of Boy Scout Troop 416 and Eagle Scout Adam Haubenstricker.
Haubenstricker built a fence for the historic farmhouse for his Eagle Badge.

The Rentschler Farm played host to Haubenstricker's Eagle Badge ceremony Saturday.
Haubenstricker's project was the latest in a long line of Rentschler Farm projects done by Boy Scout Troop 416. The Saline Area Historical Society, which operates the city-owned museum, recognized 416 Troop leader Michael Medvec with a certificate of appreciation.
