Body Found In Gravel Pit ID'd As Missing Rochester Hills Man

A man discovered dead at a closed Shelby Township gravel pit has been identified as a Rochester Hills man who went missing Feb. 2.

The body found at a shuttered gravel pit in Shelby Township Feb. 19 has been identified as Joshua Britton Clark.

Clark, 44, a Rochester Hills resident, went missing Feb. 2 after having beers at Duffy’s in Auburn Hills. According to Fox 2 Detroit, Clark’s family became concerned when it became apparent he wasn’t returning home or going to work. His family said he’d never leave his dogs or his work and created a GoFundMe page and a Crime Stoppers poster in an attempt to locate him.

Clark’s body was found at the gravel pit near Hixson and Barclay roads in Shelby Township by ATV riders who then phoned authorities. A family friend told Fox 2 that a woman at the bar offered Clark a ride home, but he never got there, and left his gloves and phone in the vehicle.
