Electrical Wire Stolen From 6 Homes Under Construction in 1 Night
The Shelby Township police are investigating a rash of electrical wire theft from homes under construction.

Electrical wiring was stolen from at least six homes under construction over the weekend in Shelby Township.
Two separate reports were filed Monday to report the thefts.
The owner of Acadia Homes told police that sometime overnight Friday, electrical wiring was stolen from five homes in the Willow Creek Estates Subdivision. The electrical wiring was stolen from the basement of two homes on Cannon Creek Street and three homes on Hidden Creek.

A few hours later, another builder reported 400 feet of electrical wiring was stolen from a home under construction on Ashbrooke West Drive overnight Friday. The builder said the wiring was taken from the basement and pulled through the interior walls on the main level.
There are no suspects or witnesses in either case.
