The 2011 Gopher the Gold will take place Saturday, July 23, at Riverbends Park in Shelby Township.
The sixth annual charity run will benefit the Special Olympics Area 14.
There will be a 10K, 5K and a kids’ fun run. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the 5K and 10K races start at 9 a.m.The fun run begins at 10:15 a.m.
