Fancy Tea Soiree

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 10, 1:30 p.m.
  • Where: Tea Party Castle (52261 Van Dyke Ave., Shelby Township)
  • What: Come dressed-up fancy! Everyone will enjoy tea and pastries, along with a fun manners and etiquette lesson. Admission is $25 for princesses and princes (children) and $13 for kings and queens (adults).

Roller Derby - Eastside Derby Girls Co-Ed Bout

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 9, 7 p.m.
  • Where: The New Rink (50625 Van Dyke Ave., Shelby Township)
  • What: The Eastside Derby Girls is a team of local ladies that have been playing flat track roller derby for over two years. The team is new to the area - they now play and practice at The New Rink. Advance tickets are $10 and available online brownpapertickets.com (search for Eastside Derby Girls) or $12 at the door. Breakfast & Business Networking

  • When: Friday, Nov. 8, 7:30 a.m.
  • Where: Sterling Lanes (33200 Schoenherr, Sterling Heights)
  • What: Attendees will be seated in groups of four to six for three 20-minute sessions. Each participant will have three to four minutes to introduce themselves and their product or service to others at the table. After each 20-minute session, all groups will separate, move on to the next group, and repeat the networking experience. A $20 fee is required at the door for "not-yet" members and non-registered participants.
