Police Probe Fatal Industrial Accident in Shelby Township
A 42-year-old man was fatally injured in an industrial accident Thursday at Mollertech on Teresa Drive in the 23 Mile and Hayes area.
A 42-year-old man was struck by a large piece of industrial equipment Thursday and killed at Mollertech in Shelby Township.
Shelby Township police and fire departments responded to a 911 call about 1 p.m. to the business in the 13800 block of Teresa Drive for a medical emergency.
The victim, whose name and hometown is not being released at the request of the family, was pronounced dead on the scene.

According to a press release from police chief Roland Woelkers, "this is an unfortunate industrial accident." Woelkers added that local investigators are coordinating with MIOSHA in the investigation.
