Help Make Shelby Township Beautiful

The Shelby Township Beautification Committee seeks volunteers for its annual Clean Up Day on April 27.

It’s time for spring cleaning in Shelby Township.

The Shelby Township Beautification Committee will sponsor its annual Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 27.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Community Center. Walk-ins also are welcome as the committee hopes to have 800 volunteers take part in the event.

Clean Up Day volunteers will clean debris and litter from assigned roadside areas.

Volunteers, who are urged to wear boots and gloves, will receive orange safety vests and orange plastic bags from the Macomb County Department of Roads.

A pizza and pop lunch will be served from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

The rain date is May 4.
