HGTV's Cash and Cari Dawns on Utica Estate Sale for Hidden Treasures
The cast and crew of HGTV's Cash and Cari will be hunting for hidden treasures at a Utica Estate Sale this weekend.
The treasures that James Bizon, who passed away in December 2011, collected throughout his life will tell his story once more this weekend as HGTV's Cash and Cari holds an estate sale at his Utica home.
"Jimmy was such an interesting man and spent his whole life collecting. This is a tribute to that," said Cari Cucksey, Cash and Cari host.
Cucksey is a Northville-based professional estate liquidator and host of the international hit show. She was hired by Bizon's family to run the estate sale on premise, and unearth anything and everything of value.

Bizon died on Dec. 17 at the age of 63 from a massive heart attack. His family said he was a deaf-mute, but he was well known in the community for communicating his passion for collecting a variety of things.
Cucksey and her team already sorted through the items that will be sold, and said the sale will be a tool-lovers dream.

"There are tons of tools. It’s a tools galore sale. There is also a collection of Barbies, globes, lava lamps, trains and beer taps," said Cucksey. "It's collection after collection."
Cucksey also owns a retail store called RePurpose Estate Services in Northville and has posted photos of the items that will be for sale at the Utica estate sale.
"This is really one of these eclectic sales. There is something for everyone," she added.
The public is welcome to attend the estate sale, which will be held Feb.17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bizon's home located at 11232 Pacton Street.
Cucksey said she expects a large turnout and customers—which will consist of avid antique collectors and the novice estate sale shoppers—are encouraged to arrive early.
Shoppers will line up to receive a number and will be able to browse the sale in numerical order, all while minding the 10-person HGTV camera crew.
Crews will be filming episode nine of 13 in Utica for Cash and Cari's third season, which is set to premiere in May.
Air date for the Utica estate sale has not yet been determined.
