Shelby Township Veterans Memorial 5K run/walk

• When: Sunday, Nov. 17, noon
• Where: Shelby Township Municipal Grounds (52700 Van Dyke Ave.)
• What: The first Shelby Township Veterans Memorial 5K run/walk takes place Nov. 17 and races around the Township Grounds and Mae Stecker Park. The course is 100 percent handicap accessible to accommodate all of our community's military heroes and will benefit the Shelby Township Veterans Memorial. Register to run and support the Township Veterans Memorial at beta.active.com.

Utica High School Marching Band Five Below Fundraiser

• When: Friday, Nov. 15, 10 a.m.
• Where: Five Below (2897 Rochester Rd., Rochester Hills)
• What: 10% of the dollars spent by your organization will be donated back to Utica Marching Band! Download the flyer at drive.google.com.
  

Girls Night Out

• When: Thursday, Nov. 14, 6 p.m.
• Where: Mirage Banquet Center (16980 18 Mile Rd., Clinton Township)
• What: An evening of shopping, friends and being fabulous! Over 50 vendors showcasing all of their goods, games, raffles silent auctions and more. Tickets are $15 in advance only to help support the Macomb Charitable Foundation.
