MACOMB COUNTY, MI — Few things bring residents together in a community quite like a farmer's market. As spring will soon turn into summer, many have opened and will continue to operate on a weekly basis through the fall.

Farmer markets typically offer flowers, plants, vegetable starters, herbs and early season fresh produce, all of which supports a local farm or business. Some markets also host food trucks and musical entertainment, as well as beauty products, baked foods, canned goods, arts and crafts.

Check out our guide to some popular farmers markets in Patch's coverage area for 2023. With hundreds and hundreds of farmers markets across the state, we admit that we may not have your favorite one listed, so just let us know in the comments section and we'll add it.
