STERLING HEIGHTS, MI — An elderly woman was killed in a crash in Sterling Heights over the weekend, according to police.

The crash happened at 4:15 p.m. Saturday on Utica Road near Forester Street in Sterling Heights, according to police.

A 75-year-old Roseville woman was driving a blue hatchback-style vehicle west on Utica Road near Forester Street where she crossed the centerline and struck a black sport utility vehicle head-on, according to police.

The occupants of the black sport utility vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash and were treated at the scene, according to police.
