MSU/UM Tailgate Party

• When: Wednesday, Oct. 30, 6 p.m.
• Where: Hamlin Pub (55076 Van Dyke Ave., Shelby Township)
• What: 34th Annual MSU UM Tailgate Party with Special Guest Will Tieman from Spartan Sports Network! Come join in the fun and tradition of this friendly rivalry. MSU and UM alumni, fans, friends and family are welcome! $15 includes tailgate menu-burgers, dogs, softdrinks with cash bar available. Macomb County Habitat for Humanity 20th Anniversary Dinner and Awards Ceremony

• When: Saturday, Nov. 2, 5 p.m.
• Where: Palazzo Grande (54660 Van Dyke Ave., Shelby Township)
• What: We will remember our achievements and thank all of our wonderful donors for assisting well over 100 families secure homeownership.  The highlight of our celebration at The Palazzo Grande will be a private, one-hour concert by legendary Lifetime Achievement awardee and Grammy Award winner Jose Feliciano, who will grace us with words of congratulations and his extraordinary songs of love and inspiration.  The evening will also include a sit-down dinner, full premium bar, raffles, silent and live auction.

Deer Day

• When: Saturday, Nov. 2, 11 a.m.
• Where: Burgess Shadbush Nature Center (4101 River Bends Dr., Shelby Township)
• What: See our Moose head; learn about Michigandeer, some deer of the world. Win small prizes and get facts from Professor "Buck Horn" or "Doereen Cervine." Have some fun with a deer craft and meet a talking deer. Enjoy a walk looking for deer sign. Ages 8 and up can shoot arrows at a target (with adult help and our equipment only).
