Nov. 1 Marks Start of New Trash Pick-Up Day in Utica
In Utica, the scheduled pick-up of your waste collection will move from Monday to Friday.

Utica residents will soon see garbage trucks on their streets later in the week than they do now.
Waste Management sent a letter to residents earlier this month informing them of the shift from Mondays to Fridays, effective Nov. 1. The switch only applies to curbside collection service provided by the company.
"These changes are part of our ongoing effort to achieve operational excellence and ensure the safety of our employees and your community. These changes are being made in order to service you more consistently, effectively and with safety as a top priority," wrote company officials in the letter to Utica residents.
