Dinner With Santa
- When: Monday, Dec. 2, 5 p.m.
- Where: American Legion Post 172 (234 Walnut Blvd., Rochester)
- What: All donations go to help support veterans in our area. Donation is $2 per person and includes hot dogs, chips, and hot chocolate, crafts for your child to make, and a picture with Santa (bring your own camera). If you have any questions, call Terri Williams at (248) 651-8137.
Barnes & Noble Rochester Hills to Host Downton Abbey Party
- When: Monday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m.
- Where: Barnes & Noble (2800 S. Rochester Rd., Rochester Hills)
- What: The event, featuring show trivia and many fun activities, is for fans of all ages of the English Crawley family and their household. Featured activities include costume contests, BYOTC (Bring your Own Teacup), find the fox (plush animal) hunt in the store, and more.
RC Band Concert To Feature Music For The Holidays
- When: Tuesday, Dec. 3, 7:30 p.m.
- Where: Rochester College Theatre (800 W. Avon Rd., Rochester Hills)
- What: Among the featured selections will be Ralph Vaughan Williams’ masterwork, the rhythmic and powerful “Toccata Marziale,” as well as selections by Scott Joplin and David Holsinger. The second half of the program will feature music of the season including a delightful medley of the famous Alfred Burt carols, the haunting Huron Carol, music of J. S. Bach, and a visit from a very special musical guest.
