Shelby Township Man Charged In Wife’s Death
The death of Kristi Cline Boshell was initially reported as a suicide.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI -- Shelby Township resident Joshua Boshell has been charged with murdering his wife. Boshell, 40, faces first-degree murder and felony firearms charges. Boshell, who described the shooting to police as a suicide attempt, was denied bond at his arraignment Tuesday.
According to Shelby Township Police, when officers arrived at the couple’s unit in the Crystal Lake Apartments Saturday, they found Kristi Cline Boshell, 44, suffering a gunshot wound to the head. After executing search warrants and interviewing witnesses, Shelby Township detectives ruled the death suspicious, and prosecutors charged Boshell with murder Tuesday.
According to police, officers had responded to calls for domestic disturbances at the couple’s home previously.
