You Said It! Good Luck Chief Reaves

The community wishes Utica Police Chief Michael Reaves well in his new job as head of the Port Huron Police Department.

As Utica Police Chief Michael Reaves finishes off his last week on the job before taking over the police department in Port Huron, the community has one last message for him: "good luck."

From Utica bar owners to librarians, everyone is wishing Reaves well.

Reaves’ last day with the Utica Police Department will be March 25.

Reaves has worked at the Utica Police Department for 32 years and rose in the ranks from dispatcher to chief.

Utica plans to celebrate the chief’s long and successful career in Utica with a going-away party at Villa Penna’s on March 31.
