Assumption Nursery School to Host Super Science Saturday

Assumption Nursery School and Toddler Center will host a community science fair Saturday for students, their families and friends.

The “Super Science Saturday” will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. at the school on Marter and allows attendees to participate in creative and child-friendly experiments in chemistry, physics, scientific art, nature and all five senses. 

Teachers have prepared lessons for children to explore opportunities science provides in early childhood programs, director Melissa Sharp wrote in a release.

It gives children the opportunity to explore, experiment, create, problem solve and encourages language development, she added.
