Deputies Searching For Baby In Suspected Kidnapping
A 30-year-old Macomb Count woman is believed to abducted her child Monday.
MACOMB COUNTY, MI β A 30-year-old Eastpointe woman is wanted on a felony Kidnapping Custodial Interference charge by the Macomb County Sheriffβs Office after she allegedly took her two-month-old son from a Harrison Township home on Monday. Carol Maxwell and Terrance Maxwell were last seen at the Harrison Township, where the baby lives with other family members, a sheriffβs office news release stated.
Deputies believe the mother and child are together. Carol Maxwell does not have legal custody of the boy, but does have supervised visits, the news release stated. Deputies are asking for the publicβs help in locating them.

Carol Maxwell does not have a vehicle and her cell phone is not working, deputies said. There are no known medical issues for either mother or child.
Carol Maxwell is described as a black woman standing 5-feet 1-inches and weighing approximately 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Macomb County Sheriffβs Office at 586-307-9412.
