The Detroit Symphony Orchestra took the stage Wednesday at Lakeview High School for a DSO in Your Community concert.
The orchestra, led by Conductor Leonard Slatkin, included selections
by Morton Gould, Charles Ives, Duke Ellington, John Williams and Aaron Copland.
The show concluded with an interactive version of John Philip Sousa's “Stars & Stripes Forever” that included a young guest conductor selected from the audience to lead the orchestra.
