Fire Destroys St. Clair Shores Home
A woman was able to get out of the home safely, but two of her pet cats died in the blaze, according to fire officials.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — An E Street home was destroyed and two pet cats killed Monday as the result of a fire. A woman living in the home was able to get out safely. Firefighters from St. Clair Shores and Roseville were able to extinguish the fire Monday morning, according to a Macomb Daily report.
A call from Patch for additional details about the fire was not immediately returned by St. Clair Shores fire officials.
“Battalion Chief Greg Coplai said two pet cats died in the incident. A third was able to get out. He said the house is uninhabitable due to the extent of fire damage.”

“The cause remains under investigation, but there is no sign of foul play, according to the fire department.”
