Marijuana Motive For St. Clair Shores Man's Shooting
A St. Clair Shores man was shot last week in an attempted robbery for his marijuana.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — A 21-year-old St. Clair Shores man shot last week in his Euclid Street home was an attempt to steal his medical marijuana, according to police. Four Oakland County residents were arraigned Monday and now face charges ranging from assault with intent to murder, to first-degree home invasion, according to media reports.

The victim underwent two surgeries and is now recovering. St. Clair Shores Police Chief Todd Woodcox said last week the victim was “was conscious and alert when officers responded.” Euclid Street sits north of 13 Mile Road and west of Jefferson Avenue.
“Jake Lutz, 19, of Madison Heights, Tyler Kopke, 19, of Madison Heights, Angelina Fortin, 17, of Troy and Ashleigh Haught, 20, of Madison Heights, were all arraigned Monday in 40th District Court before Magistrate Mark Metry.
Lutz, Kopke and Fortin were charged with assault with intent to murder, first-degree home invasion, armed robbery and felony firearm, and are being held on $500,000 bonds. Haught, who was charged with being an accessory after the fact, received a $50,000 bond.”
