Power Out In Parts Of St. Clair Shores

Power went out Saturday afternoon in several sections of St. Clair Shores.

ST. CLAIR SHORE, MI β€” Between 100 and 200 homes and businesses remain without power in St. Clair Shores. Power went out Saturday afternoon for two sections along Jefferson Avenue between 9 Mile and 10 Mile roads. DTE Energy expects to have power restored by about 11:30 p.m. Sunday night.

The first area affected is just west of Jefferson between Revere and Kramer streets south of 10 Mile Road. Power went out at 3:38 p.m. Saturday. DTE did not have a reason for the outage, but is investigating.

Further south on Jefferson closer to 9 Mile Road, power went out at 1:56 p.m. Saturday on Blackburn and Stephens streets due to wind damage.

Power was restored late Sunday afternoon for a larger swath of St. Clair Shores. About 500 homes and businesses were out between Harper Avenue and Jefferson from Martin to Corterville streets.
