St. Clair Shores Fire Department Fights Garage Fire
St. Clair Shores Fire Department suspects unattended cooking sparked fire.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — It appears a case of unattended cooking caused a garage to go up in smoke.
On Nov. 2, St. Clair Shores police and a passerbyer noticed a garage fire in the 27000 block of Ursuline, according to a press release. The homeowner was home and not harmed.
Responding firefighters discovered smoke and flames in the garage stemming from the stove top that extended over shelving units and the walls. Firefighters put out the blaze and stopped it from spreading.
