Volunteers Peel, Slice, Crimp And Bake Pies For Senior Center Fundraiser
Volunteers are coming together to make hand-made pies for the Senior Activities Center annual apple pie fundraiser.
An army of volunteers are working at the St. Clair Shores Senior Activities Center preparing the ingredients, baking and boxing apple pies for the annual fundraiser.
More than 90 individuals, groups and businesses including GTJ, ShorePointe Village, Home Instead, Everdry Waterproofing, Christian Financial and Henry Ford Medical Center have donated to the effort. Funds raised from the sale of pies will be used for the senior lunch program.
The pies will be available for sale starting Friday at the center.
