Weekend Road Construction in Southeast Michigan
Here's a roundup of road closures and construction around southeast Michigan this weekend.
The following construction activities are scheduled for the weekend beginning Friday, Nov. 1, and ending Monday, Nov. 4. Some of this work may be postponed due to inclement weather or any unforeseen circumstances
I-94:
In Detroit, eastbound I-94 will be closed from US-12 (Michigan Avenue) to I-96 from 9 p.m. Friday thru 5 a.m. Monday for ongoing bridge work at West Grand Boulevard. Through traffic will be detoured on northbound M-39 (Southfield Freeway) to eastbound I-96 to eastbound I-94. Local traffic will use Michigan Avenue.

In Detroit, westbound I-94 will be closed at M-53 (Van Dyke Avenue) from 9 p.m. Friday thru 5 a.m. Monday. Traffic is detoured using the Van Dyke exit and entrance ramps. Westbound I-94 has a single lane open from Van Dyke to I-75 where traffic is forced off onto southbound I-75. The detour is southbound I-75 (Chrysler) to the southbound I-75 (Fisher) ramp to westbound I-96 back to westbound I-94.
In St. Clair County, the eastbound I-94 ramp to eastbound I-69 is closed until November 25 for ongoing bridge work.

I-75:
In Detroit, the southbound I-75 ramp to eastbound I-94 is closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for bridge work.
In Oakland County, northbound I-75 will have a nightly double lane closure from 12 Mile to Big Beaver roads from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday, and 10 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday for pavement repair.
I-375:
In Wayne County, northbound I-375 ramp to southbound I-75 is closed for bridge repair until Nov 27.
I-96:
In Oakland County, westbound I-96 will have the two right lanes closed from Milford to Kent Lake roads, nightly from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday, and 10 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday.
In Oakland County, westbound I-96 ramp to northbound Milford Road is closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement repair.
M-59:
In Oakland County, eastbound M-59 will have a single lane closed from Williams Lake to Pontiac Lake roads from 12 a.m. Saturday until 9 a.m. Sunday for pavement repair.
