Witnesses told officers that the woman, later identified as Glenn, was the driver of the Ford Escape and was drunk, according to prosecutors.
An officer approached Glenn to look for injuries, but she bit and resisted the officer, according to prosecutors.
Officers then arrested Glenn in connection with the incident and took her to a nearby hospital, according to prosecutors.
The driver of the Silverado, 69-year-old Christopher Andelean, was also taken to a nearby hospital where he later died, according to prosecutors.
"This charge reflects the actions by the defendant towards officers after the car crash. Our office is committed to a thorough review of all evidence, and additional charges may be authorized after the Warren Police Department finishes their investigation," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
