Body Pulled From Detroit River After Boat Capsizes: Police
Investigators do not know what caused the boat to capsize, or how it might have been damaged, police said.
GROSSE ILE TOWNSHIP, MI — A man was found dead Saturday in the Detroit River hours after his boat capsized near the Ford Yacht Club in Grosse Ile Township, police said.
Hunter Polgar, 23, of Grosse Ile Township, was found dead in the water at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The cause of death was not immediately known, as police were awaiting results from the Wayne County Medical Examiner.

Police said Polgar was driving an 18-foot aluminum Starcraft, which was found "drifting offshore with damage to the bow portion of the vessel" near the Ford Yacht Club in Grosse Ile Township at 7:45 a.m. Saturday morning.

As of Monday afternoon, the incident was declared a "watercraft accident."
No further details were released by police.
Officials were still investigating the incident.
