Gas Prices Fall 4 Cents From Last Week, AAA Reports

AAA Michigan is reporting that gasoline prices have fallen roughly 4 cents during the past week to a statewide average of about $3.65 per gallon.

The Dearborn-based auto club said Monday that the average price at the pump is about 28 cents per gallon less than last year at this time.

Of the cities it surveys, AAA Michigan found the cheapest price for self-serve unleaded fuel is in the Marquette area, at about $3.55 a gallon. The highest average is in the Ann Arbor area, at $3.68 a gallon.

According to Michigan Gas Prices.com, the cheapest gas in Trenton is $3.43 a gallon, located at the Sunoco gas station, 3461 W. Jefferson Ave.

Other gas stations with lower rates include:

• Marathon, 4350 W. Jefferson Ave., $3.49 per gallon
• Future Fuels, 4107 Fort St., $3.49 per gallon
• Marathon, 3610 West Road, $3.79 per gallon

The cheapest gas on Grosse Ile is located at Sunoco, 24305 Maridian.

The most expensive gas in Trenton and on Grosse Ile is lcoated at Richardson's Service, 7764 Macomb St. on Grosse Ile.
