News Brief: Board Members Vote to Bring Back Busing in Trenton
After searching high and low for additional funding, Trenton Board of Education members voted to bring back busing for general education students.

Busing is back.
General education busing was reinstated Monday after members of the Trenton Board of Education voted in favor of using several different forms of funding to bring back busing for the 2011-12 school year.
Interim Superintendent Larry Leapley recommended to board members that general education busing for all students be reinstated for the 2011-12 school year and the recommendation passed unanimously.

The funds to reinstate busing came from several different sources. A large chunk of the funding came from delinquent taxes and taking money set aside for the demolition of Taylor Elementary School.
