Lilienthal said the signs were placed on the street initially because students at Trenton High School were taking up many parking spots.
Now that enrollment is down at the high school, there is no longer a need for the signs.
The affected residents told police they have no objections to the sign removal.
Removal of the signs will increase parking availability for Cultural Center activities.
Lilienthal said the signs should be down within one week.
