• Woman run over after speaking with SUV driver (toledoblade.com subscription) — A woman injured in a Christmas Eve incident in Berlin Township was taken in critical condition to Corewell Health Trenton Hospital, highlighting a serious case involving a Downriver resident. Investigators say she apparently fell and was run over after briefly speaking with an SUV driver in a mobile-home park off Telegraph Road. Monroe County deputies are still seeking information from the public.
